SelectMyStack does not require account creation or login. We collect the following data automatically:

• Usage data via Google Analytics — pages visited, time on site, referral source, device type, and general geographic region. This data is anonymized and aggregated.
• Quiz answers — the answers you provide in the Build My Stack and Find a Specific Tool flows are stored temporarily in your browser session to generate your recommendations. They are not sent to our servers or stored permanently.
• Contact form submissions — if you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message to respond to your inquiry.

How we use your data

We use collected data to understand how people use SelectMyStack and improve the product. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand site traffic and usage patterns. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
